Our last Vintec lasted for 16 years before needing replacement, surprisingly, we received the price of the service call off a new model. Our new one is both good looking and super quiet. Im sure it uses much less power. We were able to swap the door to open on the other side (after a bit of a battle!) too. Finally, the little lock on the bottom is a handy feature too.
